Sunspire Health Spring Hill Granted Behavioral Healthcare Accreditation from The Joint Commission

All Sunspire Health network facilities fully approved by premier independent industry compliance organization for behavioral healthcare.

LYNDHURST, N.J.--()--Sunspire Health announced today that its Ashby, MA facility, Sunspire Health Spring Hill, received The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Behavioral Healthcare Accreditation for its personalized treatment and addiction recovery services. This marks the final accreditation for Sunspire Health’s full network of eight addiction treatment facilities across the United States.This achievement from a highly-regarded independent organization validates the quality and safety of care, treatment and services Sunspire Health Spring Hill provides as part of the organization’s overall vision to change the course of addiction crisis and set the standard for quality treatment across the country.

The standards of this recognition are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus. As part of the process to receive accreditation, Sunspire Health Spring Hill underwent a rigorous onsite survey and review to evaluate compliance with behavioral healthcare standards related to several areas, including care, treatment, and services; environment of care; leadership; and screening procedures for the early detection of imminent harm. Onsite observations and interviews also were conducted.
